A look back at Muuto's presence at 3DaysOfDesign 2020, exploring the latest perspectives on Scandinavian design alongside an exploration of the approach to working with color in design.

This year Muuto was excited to present new perspectives on Scandinavian design - including the In Situ modular sofa, Rime suspension lamp, Arrange Desktop series, Doze leather armchair and more - alongside an exhibition that explored work with color and its importance in design.

At Muuto, color is at the center of its universe, rooted in the belief that color influences the way we feel when entering a room, a bedroom, an office.

Color perception is completely individual - whether it makes us feel inspired, at ease or energized is based on the individual senses. What evokes these feelings within us can be anything from the gentle warmth of wood over vibrant pink fabric to the elegance of polished aluminum.

The way we see color is shaped through all the elements around us - the surrounding colors, the way in which the color appears, the texture in which it is applied, the amount of a color within a room and the environment in which it is applied. we are.

To explore the role that color can play in the design of spaces and objects, we created color moodboards that represent small samples of Muuto's entire color palette, each with an individual character, but all rooted in the universe of new perspectives on the Scandinavian design.
