Bea Mombaers' house
Known for her impeccable sense of style, Belgian interior designer and stylist Bea Mombaers has opened the doors of her home in Brussels, where she lives surrounded by art and unique objects. As in his projects, his apartment in the Belgian capital is the result of an eclectic mix of vintage furniture, collector's pieces, minimalist design and travel influences.
In an environment dominated by generous ceiling heights, abundant natural light, wooden floors and classic details, Bea Mombaers created the perfect setting to display her collection of favorite objects, always in constant evolution. Despite the constant changes to the pieces and their arrangement, the DNA of his style never changes. With a focus on materiality, organic shapes and discreet luxury, Bea Mombaers created a comfortable and functional environment, whilst maintaining poetry and elegance.
Proof of this is the use of some of our favorite Fritz Hansen pieces, such as the Egg armchair, the PK54 table or the PK33 bench, which harmoniously integrate into the various environments of the house. These spaces developed by Bea Mombaers exalt the elements for which the Danish brand is known: timeless design associated with high quality, which creates a unique dialogue with the architecture and other pieces in an interior.
"I love the PK54 table because it's the perfect piece for the dining room. The Egg armchair, it's like a sculpture. I love its color and how it ages. It's a very special piece."
