Christmas and New Year's tables say a lot about how each person experiences these very special moments. Ferm Living challenged Imogen Snell and Riccardo Castano, the duo behind ISSTUDIO. The chosen location was the picturesque Lypiatt Park, in Gloucestershire, UK, the former home of sculptor Lynn Chadwick, which Imogen and Riccardo use for their lunches and workshops. It was in a room with old stained-glass windows, dozens of books, and works of art that the duo prepared the table with the festive season in mind.

"We like to set a table that conveys comfort and serenity. We often choose classic and timeless colours like white and silver that help create a traditional and relaxing atmosphere."

On the duo's festive tables, there is no shortage of flowers, such as marigolds and dahlias in striking shades of pink and orange. If it makes sense for both of them, they sometimes incorporate graphic and sculptural forms into the table decoration. Regarding the most remarkable table they both created, Imogen and Riccardo point to a lunch they hosted for 50 creatives from various sectors such as music, fashion, and art, where guests could enjoy fresh, seasonal produce from Lypiatt's garden. The "icing on the cake" was Lynn Chadwick's sculptures, used as centrepieces, replacing the usual flowers.
Ferm LIVING pieces help create casual yet elegant tables. Each piece adds its own aesthetic to the duo's tables, where every detail is of utmost importance.
