Founded in 1980 by Vicent Martínez from Valencia and designer Lola Castelló, Punt Mobles represents the duo's passion for design. Just five years after the brand's founding, Vicent created Literatura Clásica, a piece that had a truly differentiating effect, breaking away from everything else on the market. The Literatura Clásica bookcase is the perfect option for those with many books and little space: it features two superimposed planes, with the first plane sliding on wheels, allowing access to the second plane.
Time passed, the brand evolved consistently over the years, and in 1997 Punt was awarded the National Design Award. Today, the brand offers a series of solutions that make a difference, such as the Mitis table collection, designed by Mario Ruiz, with a massive appearance and unique details, like legs reminiscent of easels; or the Stockholm Technic, a collection of sideboards, chests of drawers, and television cabinets, also designed by Mario Ruiz, which won the Red Hot award in 2015. The top surface has an aluminum finish, the elegant feet are adjustable, and it can be wall-mounted. Also noteworthy is the Ernest desk, created by Borja García, which combines modern lines and functionality with small details from other times, such as a lid that stores small objects.
