Entre na casa de Giselle Go e Philippe Terrien

Enter the home of Giselle Go and Philippe Terrien

It was while working in fashion that Giselle Go and Philippe Terrien met in Singapore, introduced by mutual friends. Shortly after, Giselle moved to Tokyo, where Philippe had been living for several years. But it was their passion for nature that led them to discover the ideal retreat: the tranquil fishing village of Misaki. In fact, it is precisely this connection to Japan and nature that inspired the duo to launch the cosmetics brand DAMDAM.

It is in Misaki that they enjoy spending their weekends, in what they call their dream home. A space where fishing baskets and a collection of washi papers harmoniously coexist with various Muuto pieces.

While Philippe spends hours in the kitchen preparing meals with aromatic herbs from the garden, Giselle finds her way to recharge her energy in long, restorative baths with ocean views.

Built in the 70s by an American photojournalist, the house charmed the couple with its potential. Still, they decided to modernize it, preserving the essentials and opening more windows to let natural light in and bring them even closer to the surrounding landscape.

"Living so close to nature has been a transformative experience because we had to learn to be in tune with it and its rhythm. The more you live in nature, the more you understand how it works."
