Entre na casa de William e Babeth Marlin

Enter the home of William and Babeth Marlin

The home of William and Babeth Marlin, where they live with their three children, is a space tailored to the family. "William always told me that you don't decorate the inside of your house to please others," says Babeth. This care in creating a personalised space is evident in the various rooms of the house built in 1883, located on the outskirts of Paris. The house is eclectic and inviting, reflecting the passions of William, a designer for Knoll International, and Babeth, a nurse and content creator. Among collector's items and a lot of colour, we find some of our favourite pieces from Knoll, Muuto, USM and String, among other brands. However, Knoll furniture is what stands out most, such as the Saarinen table or the Womb armchair.

"We collect many objects, which allows us to change things according to the seasons, our mood or what is happening in our lives. We also wanted to have beautiful design pieces, without the house turning into a museum. It was important to include functional pieces for family life. Our Saarinen table is round and inviting, evoking interaction and conversation. And the Womb armchair, with its generous arms and soft shapes, invites you to relax and get comfortable. Our guests always want to try it out and "fight" to do so," concludes William.
