Fedrigo: quando conforto e sustentabilidade se encontram

Fedrigo: where comfort and sustainability meet

Fedrigo is the sofa designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Zanotta, a modular system that combines comfort, elegance, and environmental awareness.

The design of Fedrigo starts with comfort as its central premise. The backrest and arms merge into a single piece, creating a welcoming embrace, while the cushions reinforce ergonomic support. The generous dimensions of the sofa enhance the feeling of softness, making it inviting and perfect for moments of relaxation.

In addition to comfort, sustainability is a key factor in Fedrigo. Its structure combines plywood and expanded polyurethane with recycled CIRCULARREFOAM® polyols, while the upholstery in recycled PET is attached with velcro, eliminating the need for adhesives. This approach allows the sofa to be fully disassembled, facilitating the recycling and recovery of materials at the end of its life cycle.

The result is a modular sofa that not only invites rest but also reflects a responsible attitude towards the environment. Fedrigo is an example of how contemporary design can harmoniously combine comfort, aesthetics, and sustainability.
