Designed in 1965 by Joe Colombo, the Spider stood out from the start as a visionary piece in the world of lighting design. With an innovative diffuser, conceived to project horizontal light, it quickly became a benchmark object — recognized with the Compasso d'Oro and integrated into institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Today, this icon returns in a new version: the Mini Spider.
Reissued by Oluce, this table model has been carefully rethought to keep intact the elements that define the original: the lacquered metal base, the chrome stem, and the distinctive hammer-shaped luminous head. The main novelty is in the scale: more compact, more versatile, and perfectly adapted to contemporary contexts.

Available in new colors such as black, scarlet red, and blue, the Mini Spider introduces a more expressive approach, without losing the technical elegance that made the original design timeless.
A piece that proves that great classics don't reinvent themselves, they evolve.
Now on display at Paris:Sete.
