A dream home in Dubai
The project is located in one of the busiest residential neighborhoods in Dubai, and is therefore surrounded by many other houses.
In this way, VSHD Design imagined an L-shaped house, where the family can enjoy the pool and garden area in complete privacy. The entry experience begins at the boundary wall, making the most of the plot's size.
One of the challenges was the definition of grandeur . In a region where grandeur is expected to be very bright and showy, it was necessary to create an atmosphere of unusual grandeur. This kind of grandeur could only be achieved through commanding proportions and the use of natural materials and lots of light.
Therefore, scale was fundamental in this project, where all doors and windows reach ceiling level, giving the objects inside a powerful presence, and allowing in plenty of natural light.
