USM x Armando Cabral at Maat

Designer and model Armando Cabral once again teams up with USM to present the exhibition NKYINKYIM at MAAT.

Debuting in the MAAT Central Generators Room, NKYINKYIM intertwines design and identity through concepts such as heritage, adaptability, and community. The exhibition's name originates from the Adinkra NKYINKYIM symbol, developed by the Akan people of Ghana and Ivory Coast, associated with ideas of transformation, progress, and non-linear growth.

This is Cabral's second collaboration with the Swiss modular furniture brand and includes a modular daybed, a mini lounge chair, a sideboard, a coffee table, a desk, and two shelving units. The pieces were designed exclusively for this exhibition, on display in the Generators Room until March 7th.

Paris:Sete couldn't be prouder to be part of this exhibition.
