Vitra presents new products at 3daysofdesign

During 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, Vitra unveiled a series of innovations that reinforce the dialogue between heritage, innovation, and contemporary design. Among the launches, the Bascule Armchair stands out, developed in collaboration with Studio Œ, where designers Lisa Ertel and Anne-Sophie Oberkrome create a piece that explores movement, comfort, and informality through a language that is simultaneously sculptural and inviting. The Bascule combines a relaxed aesthetic with a new Vitra seating mechanism that allows for automatic adjustment to the user's weight. It will be available with two base options, in high-back or low-back versions, and can be complemented with a footrest or stool.

This year's edition also marked the centenary celebrations of Verner Panton. To commemorate the occasion, in addition to the Panton Cubes modular system that allows for the creation of sculptural animals or abstract compositions, Vitra presented new interpretations such as the Panton Chair Classic Gold and the Limited Edition, an iconic piece by the Danish designer, reaffirming the timelessness of his experimental vision and his legacy in 20th-century design.

Among the novelties is also the Anagram Club, a new configuration of the modular sofa system designed by Panter&Tourron. Conceived for work environments, hospitality, and meeting spaces, the Anagram Club offers a greater sense of privacy and comfort, while maintaining the versatility that characterizes the collection.

Vitra also presented new variants of the Mynt and Mikado chairs, expanding the possibilities for customization of these pieces and reinforcing their adaptation to different contexts, from residential to professional spaces. The Mynt High, designed by Erwan Bouroullec, introduces a completely new and dynamic seating experience for high tables, counters, and bars. From the same designer, the Mynt Soft is a compact, height-adjustable swivel lounge chair that combines high comfort with great versatility of use.

All these new products will be available from September 2026.
