The idea of ​​a Modular Sofa taken to the extreme!

The Yard sofa, designed by Francesco Rota, tries to take the classic concept of a modular sofa to its extreme!

The concept aims to find the perfect combination between systems and sofas, which are in LEMA's DNA. This results in puffy volumes that integrate perfectly with tops, shelves and small tables used in different positions and configurations, giving the possibility of creating countless compositions.

The fabric-covered metal structure is a base supported by feet, articulated through triangular joints that support cushions and arms, giving the possibility of being a support for tops, shelves and tables. The materials used are thought out in detail to provide comfort and correct proportion.

The cushion volumes, all with a parallelepiped shape, are supported on the base, without completely hiding it, creating a harmonious contrast. A lightweight metal support system with different heights and widths is mounted to the frame creating multiple configuration options for side tables.
