Eve Wilson is a Melbourne-based photographer who is dedicated to portraying interiors, food, people, and places with a fresh and curious eye. Her photographs stand out for their lightness, minimalism, and cozy feel, something that can also be found in her home in the Cremorne neighborhood, where she lives with her family.
In this old worker's cottage, transformed by Studio Bright into a modernist-inspired urban oasis. With a lot just over four meters wide, an innovative concept was needed to bring new life to the home. "We have two children and a dog, so we needed space for everyone. The house was so small and needed personality and creativity, not just an open space with a white box at the back. I wanted textures, color, and lots of greenery," says Eve.
All these elements are visible throughout the house, where some of our favorite Muuto pieces can also be found, such as the Cover chair, the Relevo rug, or the Linear bench. The combination of natural materials, warm tones, and hand-picked furniture and accessories has created a home where all environments are intensely lived.
"One of the things I like most is when we are all using different spaces. Because of the patio, it's possible for everyone to see each other simultaneously. It's a very good connection, everyone is doing something different, but we still feel like we are all together."
