B&B Italia has always celebrated its Italian roots, framing its products in sumptuous palazzos and villas in its productions, highlighting the modernity of the collection against the legacy of these historic spaces. In the Italian brand's latest production, the chosen setting was Villa Arconati in Castellazzo di Bollate, north of Milan.
Acquired in 1610 by the aristocrat Galeazzo Arconati, an art collector and architecture enthusiast, the property began to take shape at his hands, only being completed in the following century, in 1750, by Giuseppe Antonio Arconati. It was in this final period that the Villa gained its current form and size, with its 70 elegantly decorated rooms, spread over more than 10,000 square metres.
With its vibrant Baroque-style frescoes, these spaces served as a backdrop for B&B Italia to showcase some of its latest innovations, such as the Dambo sofa and the Eryt armchair by Piero Lissoni, the Heri O' chair by Monica Armani, the Tortello sofa by the Barber & Osgerby duo, the Lemante side tables by Kensaku Oshiro, the Quiet Lines collection by Gabriel Tan or the Tetrami system by Naoto Fukasawa, among others.
