Vitra's new Anagram is much more than a sofa; it's a family of modules that adapt to the daily demands of a home and whose design incorporates a response to changing contemporary lifestyles. This is achieved through a careful combination of comfort, engineering, functionality, and aesthetics.
Designed by the duo Panter&Tourron, the sofa has been meticulously crafted to accompany its users throughout their lives through a series of elements that can be combined, added, or repositioned. Based on platform modules, designed as if they were islands, the Anagram features components such as backrests, side panels, and side tables, which can be attached to all four sides of the seat using an intelligent interlocking system.
The versatility of the seat platforms allows for quick configuration changes, whether for relaxing, socializing with friends, playing with children, or preparing it as a bed for visiting family. Additionally, all covers are removable for easy cleaning. As all materials in the sofa are separated from each other, at the end of a piece's life, they can be effectively recycled.
