Vibia's Plusminus is one of the latest new products on display in our showroom. Designed by Stefan Diez, the lighting system celebrates the fluidity and flow of light through a unique concept based on a textile tape, seemingly simple, yet incredibly innovative.

Based on an idea stemming from a Vibia brief to explore the positive and negative aspects of light, Diez created a universe of lamps that breaks conventions, merging materiality and illumination. Its versatility and conductive textile tape allow for various lighting solutions along its length, creating unique compositions or using the diffusers individually.

The simple fastening system, similar to a belt with a buckle, allows the spotlights to be repositioned at any time, a feat achieved through the technology hidden within the textile tape, like a magic trick. The textile belt, which can be extended for many meters, allows the system to become independent of existing electrical installations in a space, emancipating lighting from architecture, but also transforming it with the sculptural dimension of Plusminus.

"The way I see my work is very close to being a magician. It's about creating fascination by making things disappear, making the impossible easy, or creating a simple solution for something that seems complicated," concludes the designer.
