The solid walnut Eames bench was designed by Charles & Ray Eames and has been available from the Swiss brand Vitra since 1960.
Originally, Vitra's Eames stool was a commission from Charles & Ray Eames for Time Inc. The design studio created the comfortable Lobby Chair collection of lounge chairs for the New York media company, which was accompanied by this turned walnut.
Vitra's Eames stool is 38 cm high, has a diameter of 33 cm and is available as model A, model B, model C and model D under "available product types".
When ordering, note the different shaped profiles of the Eames bench, which Vitra offers in clear and black lacquer.
