Toio floor lamp, designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos, is an Italian design classic from 1962. Toio is an experimental combination of playful design and industrial warehouse aesthetics, and it was inspired by the works of the French avant-garde artist Marcel Duchamps. The sturdy steel base of Toio supports the cord-winder and vertical stem that is equipped with a light head of a car. The adjustable height and dimmable bulb make Toio a versatile luminaire that can be used as a bright general light or a delightful detail of the interior. Award-winning Toio has been included in the permanent collection of New York's MoMA.
