Designed by Johanna Grawunder for the Italian lighting brand Flos in 2005, Wan S is a small pendant light with sleek, minimalist design. Wan is a Japanese word for a bowl, and the most essential element of the lamp is a bowl-shaped aluminum shade that provides direct light with no glare. The bowl houses a special anti-glare structure consisting of a metallic cylinder and thick safety glass disc attached by a replaceable retaining ring. The lamp is supplied with two different rings: a black and a green one.
