Panthella in the lives of three creatives
Meet a florist, a designer and a creative director who share a passion for one of our favorite Louis Poulsen lamps, the Panthella, designed by Verner Panton in 1971. The three creatives show off their studios in Copenhagen, where the Panthella is a fixture in common, providing warm lighting and a good dose of inspiration.
Mikkel Borg Bjergsø, creative director, has been collecting pieces by Verner Panton for over 20 years, having a great influence on his life. "For me, your work is iconic and your universe will always follow me and be a huge source of inspiration" .
For Nanna Frimodt, Panthella has a direct relationship with her work as a designer, because like her clothing brand Babett, the lamp is a symbol that "good design lasts forever" .
In Julius Iversen's studio, Panthella's sculptural silhouette contrasts with the rawness of his workspace, combining perfectly with his modern floral arrangements and always helping to showcase different nuances of the flowers. "As a florist I compose and put together flowers, shapes and colors and even though I know them well, I always have a different experience."
