Aim pendant, designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec in 2013, is a multifunctional luminaire with adjustable height and orientable light head. Aim Cable+Plug is powered directly from mains, and it features a dimmer and a 9-meter cable that allows the lamp to be suspended up to 3 meters from the ceiling. The long cable and plug make it easy to move the lamp from place to another, and besides the ceiling, it can also be hung from a wall hook or shelf. Unlike most luminaires, Aim does not try to hide its power cord, on the contrary – the long, freely hanging cord is an essential element of the stripped, industrial appearance of the lamp. In 2013, the Bouroullec brothers received the Good Design Award for the Aim lamps.
