The elegant VL45 Radiohus pendant light from Louis Poulsen was originally designed for the Radiohus building in Copenhagen in the 1940s. The mastermind behind both the pendant and the building is architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, known for his functionalist architecture in Denmark. The VL45 Radiohus pendant features a beautiful round shade made of white opal glass that filters soft uniform light. The opening on the bottom allows direct downwards light.
